Judy began her career in the pharmaceutical industry in 1978 as an HR professional at Sandoz Pharmaceuticals Corporation where she gained experience in Compensation, Recruiting, Management/Leadership Development, and diversified HR generalist experience in supporting R&D, Manufacturing, Corporate Services and Sales & Marketing.In 1996, when Sandoz and Ciba-Geigy merged to form Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation, Judy was appointed Executive Director for the Organization and Leadership Development function. In that role she managed two merger integration teams, designed and implemented a management development curriculum, led the change management program for the 2 integrating companies, and had overall responsibility for OD programs and initiatives.In 1999, Judy was appointed Vice President, Human Resources for the Commercial Division of Novartis where she led a team of 15 HR professionals to provide full HR generalist and specialist support to a client population of over 7,000 employees.
